How do I print a DWG from Digimap at the correct scale?

Downloaded a topographic map in DWG which I think downloads at 1:1250? When I open in CAD because everything is drawn at 1:1 the map scale is effectively incorrect and 1250 times smaller than it should be, therefore to get it at the correct scale I require to scale the map up using the scale command by 1250 times?
